Philosophy
For international students coming to Japan to acquire skills from nations seeking advancement in science and technology (particularly architecture), our mission goes beyond mere language instruction. We cultivate the ability to understand the traditional culture living within Japanese architecture, while fostering a heart that cherishes the traditions of the students’ own home countries.
Purpose
To provide education for international students aiming to study science and technology (specifically architecture) in Japan that not only improves Japanese language proficiency but also deepens understanding of Japanese architectural culture and social contexts. We support a smooth transition to specialized education upon completion of our program, aiming to nurture individuals who can contribute to the future development of architecture and society in their home countries.

About the course
Course Overview
Our school offers a “2-Year Preparatory Course” and a “1-Year-6-Month Preparatory Course,” both of which aim to achieve B2 level and advance to vocational schools.
<<Objectives>> This course aims to equip students aiming to enter vocational schools specializing in architecture with the Japanese language skills they need, while also deepening their understanding of Japanese culture and etiquette. It also cultivates students who can apply their experience and knowledge to everyday challenges as independent language users.
<<Goals>> To be able to read lengthy academic texts, gather information from multiple perspectives, summarize arguments, and write grammatically accurate and clear sentences through discussion. Students will also be prepared for further study at higher education institutions.

Objective A2 “Comprehensive Japanese”: Students will listen to conversations about everyday situations, such as basic personal and family information, shopping, neighborhood, and work, and practice speaking using vocabulary appropriate to the topic. Students will also practice sentence patterns, reading comprehension, and writing compositions, developing comprehensive communication skills. Using the two textbooks “Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture, Beginner 1,” “Kids’ Activities” and “Understanding” will help students practice and understand language activity expressions for the goals and “cando,” while “Understanding” will help students solidify grammar points.

Objective B1 “Comprehensive Japanese”: Students will practice speaking using topic-appropriate vocabulary to explain in simple terms their own background, surrounding circumstances, and matters of immediate need. Students will also practice sentence patterns, reading comprehension, and writing compositions, fostering comprehensive communication skills. Using the two textbooks “Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture, Beginner 2,” “Kids’ Activities” and “Understanding,” students will practice and understand language activity expressions for the goals and “cando” in “Kids’ Activities,” and solidify grammar points in “Understanding.”

Admissions Information
Application Guidelines (Application Eligibility)
Applicants for the “2-year preparatory course” must have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to A1 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 or above). Applicants for the “1-year and 6-month preparatory course” must have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to A2 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or above). In addition, you must submit a color copy of your passport (all pages excluding blank pages). *If you have visited Japan before, you must also submit a color copy of your visa and the visa page.
*A simple test will be conducted during the selection process to check basic academic ability and level.

*Please include the duration of study, total number of hours studied, number of hours completed to date, attendance record, textbooks used, issuer, and date of issue.
Refund policy (admission fee and examination fee)
Regarding the refund of student fees already paid, the following will apply:
- If you cancel after submitting your application documents, the application fee will not be refunded, regardless of the reason.
- In the event of admission refusal or withdrawal, entrance examination fees and admission fees will not be refunded regardless of the reason for the refund.
- Tuition fees for completed semesters will not be refunded
- For tuition fees for semesters that have not yet started or for tuition fees for withdrawal during a semester, the remaining amount will be calculated from the date the school receives the written notification, and 20% of the remaining amount or 50,000 yen, whichever is lower, will be deducted from the refund.
- In principle, refunds will be made to the bank account designated by the student by the end of the month following the confirmation of departure or transfer. Remittance fees will be borne by the recipient.
- Facility and equipment fees will not be refunded.
- No refunds will be made for students who are expelled due to violations of laws, regulations, or rules.
- Tuition fees will not be refunded for semesters in which students are absent through no fault of the school.
